A foil balloon may be folded and placed in the scrapbook or the theme cut out in any type of design. Pinking sheers can add a different look to a straight cut edge. I recommend that if would like to save a latex balloon that you do not attempt to cut it. The shape will be lost and difficult to set in the birthday scrapbook. A word of caution: don’t attempt to save a latex balloon that has hi-float in it. The balloon will ooze hi-float all over your creation.

For the less adventurous, solid color party ware is available in many bright and pastel colors. A dessert plate or flattened cup and even a spoon and fork make great keepsakes.

Birthday candles are another keepsake that will stand out of your scrapbook pages. The smaller spiral colored candles may be fixed to the page with twists passed over the candle and poked through the page twisting on the backside. Make sure it is snug because you will probably have another memory on page covering up the ties.
